An exciting new concept to be hosted by The Underground Theatre once operational, The Underground Network will seek to specifically link up theatre practitioners, theatrical groups, directors, writers, technical crew and performing artists of all genres from throughout Plymouth and the surrounding area. We would hope this will be an active and specific part of Plymouth's Cultural Arts Network (CAN), an existing network which seeks to link all artforms and culture throughout Plymouth.
If you need an actor, a dancer or a singer, if you are looking for a director, if you need a writer, or simply someone to teach your group some dance moves, then The Network will be one of your first points of contact. Equally if you are able to provide any of the above services or others within the performing arts then this will be the place to provide information to potential users of your services. We already have an extensive network of links through social media and personal networking and will build on this to estabish The Underground Network.
One established, by registering artists , technicians, promoters and groups will be able to promote services whilst networking with other registered users to search for other practioners or even other performance spaces who are registered on the site. Once the Underground Theatre is open, there will be direct links on this website. In the meantime, find us on Twitter @TUTPlymouth to begin networking with us.
